Europa pens were made by the Cavaliere brothers (Fratelli Cavaliere), a Milan workshop active from the early 1930s that first produced pens for Luigi Diani before selling under the unregistered Europa name. Though not primarily a pen manufacturer, the firm holds a notable place in Italian fountain pen history for its expert metal overlay work, which was used by many other Italian pen brands.
