Helix is a British stationery manufacturer founded in Birmingham in 1887, best known for the Oxford Set of Mathematical Instruments used by generations of schoolchildren, along with rulers, pens and other school supplies. The Helix Oxford brand dates from 1935, and after entering administration in 2012 the company was acquired by French stationery group Maped, operating today as part of Maped Helix.
