Stephen's is the historic British ink maker built on the indelible "blue-black writing fluid" invented in 1832 by Dr Henry Stephens (1796-1864). His son Henry Charles Stephens grew Stephens' Ink into a worldwide brand famous for its inkblot trademark, and it remained a household name in Britain for over a century.
