ROMEO is the original writing instrument brand of Tokyo stationer Itoya, born in 1914 as a fountain pen line for gentlemen and ladies during Japan's era of Western-influenced modernization. The brand was revived in 2004 with a restoration model for Itoya's 100th anniversary, followed in 2009 by the signature ROMEO No.3 ballpoint. Today ROMEO covers pens, leather goods, notebooks and cocktail-inspired colored inks.
