Tom Norton is an American artist who began making his signature Walnut Drawing Ink in 1995 in his basement in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The ink is a lightfast, acid-free modern alternative to traditional walnut inks used by the old masters, made with artist-grade pigments rather than actual walnuts. Today it is produced by a team of artists in Rochester, New York.
