Greens read as more expressive than blue or black, a common choice for people who want color without leaving the realm of "still looks professional." This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Chesterfield
Chesterfield was the house ink and pen brand of xFountainPens, an American online pen retailer operated by Paramount Goods LLC. Its bottled fountain pen inks, including the popular Antique series, were sold in 25, 50 and 100 ml bottles and were described as premium inks made in the United Kingdom by a manufacturer established in 1864. The xFountainPens website is no longer online and the brand is discontinued.
