Paper & pairing
Reds and pinks show the most dramatic shading of any color family — expect real variation between the edges and center of each letter. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Journalize
Journalize is an independent stationery brand and store from Hong Kong that released its first branded products in 2016. It is best known for shimmering fountain pen inks inspired by Vincent van Gogh's paintings, sold in series such as Starry Night, Nebula, Whimsical and Time of a Day. According to retailer listings the 30 ml inks are handmade in Hungary and are recommended for broader nibs, glass pens and dip pens.
Storing and using the bottle
