As a near-neutral tone, it reads as professional and safe for anything from journaling to signatures. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Pen + Message
Pen and Message is a fountain pen specialty shop in Kobe, Japan, opened in 2007 by Yoshimune, who previously headed the fountain pen department at Kobe's Nagasawa Stationery Center. The shop sells fine writing instruments, papers and vintage dead-stock pens, and offers its own original bottled inks in several sizes.
Storing and using the bottle
