As a near-neutral tone, it reads as professional and safe for anything from journaling to signatures. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.

Swisher Pens was an American fountain pen retailer founded in 1999 in Norfolk, Virginia, by postal worker Chuck Swisher together with colleague Chun Lee, growing out of Swisher's pen hobby into a mail-order business. The shop was known among collectors for its exclusive ink editions and has since closed.
