Paper & pairing
Warm tones (oranges, yellows, ambers) show strong contrast between light and dark areas of each stroke, which is part of why they're popular with broader nibs. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Tsutaya
Tsutaya is a major Japanese bookstore and media chain whose first store opened in Hirakata, Osaka in 1983, founded by Muneaki Masuda and operated by Culture Convenience Club. With hundreds of locations including the upscale Tsutaya Books stores, several branches commission original fountain pen inks, such as Umeda Tsutaya Books' city-themed colors and Edo-themed series, sold as store exclusives.
Storing and using the bottle
