About Duke
Duke is a Chinese pen brand founded in 1988 by Huang Xide and now owned by Shanghai Jin Huangguan Gold Pen Co. It markets itself on German-influenced design and engineering and concentrates on heavy metal-bodied gift and commemorative pens, including bent-nib models aimed at calligraphy. Most pens are steel-nibbed and inexpensive, though the range extends to gold-nibbed presentation pieces.
How to fill the Duke Fude
Fill it two ways: snap in a pre-filled international cartridge for convenience, or use a converter — a small plunger or twist mechanism that installs the same way a cartridge does — to draw ink from any bottle. Choosing a nib size
